Zika virus in Mexico.
Local transmission of Zika virus infection has been reported in Mexico. The CDC recommends that travelers to Mexico protect themselves from mosquito bites. Moreover, based on available evidence neither CDC nor WHO have issued any recommendation against traveling to Mexico. We recommend participants to PervasiveHealth’16 to frequently monitor the official channels regarding changes in the situation at the CDC website: http://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/notices/alert/zika-virus-mexico and the WHO http://www.who.int/features/qa/zika/en/.
